The USS Snook Base of the United States Submarine Veterans had their unveiling memorial monument dedication to those submariners lost in service to our country. The unveiling was held Wednesday, July 21, 2010, 10:00am at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fayetteville. Guests included officers from the United States Submarine Veterans, officials from the Veterans Administration Medical Center, and retired and active duty U.S. Navy Submariners. The public and other veterans organizations attend. This was the first submarine memorial in northwest Arkansas and the third in the state.
