I expect we will have several airline tickets worth of money saved in our checking account by the end of this year.. Recall our goal is to send each USSVI-North Dakota member to the commissioning of USS NORTH DAKOTA (SSN-784) in 2012.Finally, we had a Mr. David Zier in Fargo on Wednesday, July 1st. He was an actual crewmember of the USS ROBALO when it was sunk in 1944 - he just happened to have been given a pass to remain in port the last patrol.We had a big event for him, and had the Mayor of Fargo proclaim Wednesday as Mr. David Zier day!! Mr Zier brought ALL FOUR of his children to the event we held - all were from either PA, DE, VA or NY.Well Done, Robalo Base!=========================================================
